Sampling of small invertebrates for diet assessment

Abstract

Small invertebrates are collected from sediment cores (box corer), and fixed in ethanol or formaldehyde/rose bengal/borax. Nematodes etc will be picked at a later stage and diets will be inferred using metabarcoding.
