    Ocean acidification effects on marine planktic calcifiers: relative and absolute abundances of planktic foraminifera, pteropopds and their contribution to the carbonate pump/budget.

    Abstract

    The aim of this cruise was to collect planktic foraminifera and pteropods to detect and quantify ocean acidification effects on these two groups of organisms and assess their contribution to the carbon pump in the northern Barents Sea. For this purpose planktic foraminifera and pteropods were collected using multinets (64um).

    Phytoplankton net hauls from 2021710 Joint Cruise 2-2

    Abstract

    Phytoplankton net hauls taken for taxonomic identification onboard the 2021710 AeN Joint Cruise 2-2 in the Arctic basin. The cruise took place from August 24th 2021 and lasted until September 26th 2021. Samples taken both onboard the ship, and through the ice at ice stations. Nansen Legacy protocol version 9, section 9.1.
