    Biomass was taken with vertical hauls of the MIK net (1500 micron mesh). Rare taxa (for the sample) were isolated from the sample and frozen(referred to as pickouts). Two subsamples were taken: (1) for metabarcoding stored on ethanol at -21 degrees C, (2) for later determination of species content stored at 4 degrees in buffered formaline 4%. The masses of the various fractions are reported here.

    JC2-1 cruise (2021708) activity log

    Abstract

    Activitiy log for the JC2-1 cruise in the Barents sea, July 12th-29th 2021. IMR cruise number 2021708. Activities are pull automatically from the toktlogger onboard the ship, which ensures that IMR and AeN are using the same UUIDs for each event. These should be used when communicating about these activities to reliably ensure that both parties are referring to the same events.
