Genetic of single individuals of Calanus glacialis and some other deep water copepods and other phylas
pi_name: Janne Søreide; Anna Vader
Abstract
Sampls og single individuals of Calanus glacilis was collected from P9 and P11 to check that it is C. glacialis and not C. finmarchicus. Samples of other deep water copepods and some other phyla was also taken to be able to confirm morphological identification. Pictures are taken of these individuls.

Metadata for samples collected by Jessie Gardner
pi_name: Marit Reigstad, Jessie Gardner
Abstract
Sediment traps were deployed at seven different depths (30, 40, 60, 90, 120, 200 and 500m). From each depth, samples for fractionated algal pigments (Chl a and Chl a >10µm), feacal pellets, phytoplankton communities and POC/PON were taken. From 30, 60, 200 and 500m depth, additional samples were taken for stable isotopes, HPLC pigments, IP25, metabarcoding and particulate biogenic silica.
