Despite COVID-19 delays, the Hornsund seismic station has been successfully extended as part of a SIOS access project, and will provide data for glaciological, permafrost, climate, and tectonic research.
Polar Night Week 2023 will take place in Longyearbyen, 23-27 January 2023 - with possibility to participate remotely in some of the sessions.
