A second round of funding for contributions to the SESS report 2019 has been opened. It is earmarked for updates on previous chapters.
The first issue of the SESS report (2018) had 9 chapters and takes us through all the spheres from the deep permafrost through the surface interfaces, into the ocean and into the upper atmosphere approaching space.
The second issue further increases the diversity of Earth System Science topics discussed in the SESS report. However, in order to allow for brief updates on the development in the areas covered in the SESS report 2018, SIOS now opens a call for contributions that update chapters from 2018 in the form of a report card.
Funds available per contribution: Up to 100.000 NOK
Who can apply: Authors in the SESS report 2018.
Deadline: 30 June 2019

Please send a brief application to information@sios-svalbard.org containing following:
- Chapter title in SESS report 2018
- Description of the planned update (1 page)
- Sum applied (maximum 100.000 NOK)
