SIOS announces this year's Innovation Award!
SIOS, in collaboration with Svalbard Science Forum, is pleased to announce this year's Innovation Award. The award began in 2021 and aims to promote innovation in support of Earth System science in the Svalbard region.
Opening of call: 22 June 2023
Deadline to apply: 12 September 2023 (noon)
The call is open to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria in the call text. The proposed innovation must aim to solve a problem in Earth system science or monitoring in Svalbard. The award amount is 400 000 NOK.
The winner of the award will be announced at the Svalbard Science Conference in Oslo, 31 October to 1 November.
