Mesozooplankton and sediment meiofauna for dietary metabarcoding

    pi_name: Anna Vader

    Abstract

Mesozooplankton samples are divided in two groups: mesozooplankton 1) fixed immediately in ethanol (96%), and 2) fixed in ethanol (96%) after a 48 h gut evacuation step. Sampling gear and details: Bongo 64 um nets from bottom - 0 m, OR 1000 - 0 m at deep stations. Sediment is sampled from box corer at stations where boxcoring is possible. At each station three samples are taken, two with a spoon and one with a cut syringe. All samples are filled with ethanol (96%) and put in the -20
