    Respiration experiments copepods

    pi_name: Konrad Karlsson; Janne Søreide

    Abstract

Measuring respiration rates of individual, dominant copepods species and life stages (e.g. Calanus glacialis CV) at stations P1, P4/5, and P6/7. Copepods are collected either with Bongo nets (180 um) or WP3 (1000 um) depending on the species studied. Samples are collected from the upper 100 m and stored at an ambient temperature of 0C. Each experimental run-through lasts for 5 hours.
