Sediment trap and boxcore sample log

    pi_name: Marit Reigstad, Yasemin Bodur

    Abstract

Sediment traps were deployed at six different depths (30, 40, 60, 90, 120 and 200m). From each depth, samples for fractionated algal pigments (Chl a and Chl a >10µm), fecal pellets, phytoplankton communities and POC/PON were taken. From 30, 60 and 200m depth, additional samples were taken for stable isotopes, HPLC pigments, IP25, metabarcoding and particulate biogenic silica

    Abstract

Samples collected from diltuion and grazing experiments (incubation in lab) to measure growth rate of phytoplankton and micro zooplankton as well as grazing rates of micro zooplankton, oithona and Calanus sp. At stations P1, P4 and P7.
