HPLC pigments from sediment

Abstract

Box core samples for analysis of algal pigments in sediment were taken for HPLC analysis. The top 2 cm of the sediment were sampled with a 60 ml syringe and samples were frozen at -80 deg C for later analysis. This work is part of RF3 of the Nansen Legacy project, cruise SS Q3, August 2019. No HPLC samples taken for P7 since surface was completely destroyed in the 2 box cores that came up
