Meiofauna abundance after incubation

Abstract

Sediment meiofauna samples were taken with a 60 ml syringe from sediment incubation cores after incubation for determination of benthic foraminifera abundance and carbon uptake. 0-1 and 1-2 cm sections were sectioned and placed separately into cerbo boxes or falcon tubes and preserved at -20 deg C. This work contributes to the Nansen Legacy project, RF3 task 3.4.
